Everyone who earns a living in the real estate appraising industry should belong to the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers. Headquartered in Chicago, the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers provides solutions for today's professional appraiser. NAIFA's objective is to raise the standards of the appraisal profession, gain recognition for its members as qualified professionals and to promote fellowship among appraisers. Local chapters help appraisers develop a working network, an opportunity to discuss issues with fellow appraisers, and keep skills and knowledge updated through meetings, speakers, and classes.
