The National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers (NAIFA) is a national appraisal membership association offering an appraiser designation program and educational courses. National association information can be viewed by going to www.naifa.com.
NAIFA NorCal is the chapter representing appraisers in the Central Valley of California . The NorCal chapter has bi-monthly dinner meetings (usually on the third Frday of the month) to bring appraisers together with speakers. Some dinner meetings include two-hour Continuing Education courses. Others have speakers on appraisal-related subjects. Meeting your peers is important, and meetings also offer Appraiser Trainees the opportunity to meet appraisers who may be willing to take on the Trainee as a mentor.
